Fiebing’s Gum Tragacanth is used to burnish edges and smooth out leather surfaces. 

Follow these steps for the best results.

1. Test the Gum Tragacanth on a small, inconspicuous area of your project to make sure you get the desired results without causing any damage to your work.
2. Apply a small amount to the edge of the leather or the area you want to burnish. Rub it evenly onto the leather surface with a burnishing tool, bone folder, or  EDGE SLICKER.
3. Continue rubbing until the leather becomes smooth and glossy. The friction will help to activate the Gum Tragacanth and bind the fibers of the leather together.
4. Repeat the steps as many times as you need to get your desired finish.
5. Clean up any excess Gum Tragacanth from your tools and work surface to prevent it from drying and becoming difficult to remove.
6. Let your project dry completely. Gum Tragacanth usually dries within a few minutes, but it may vary depending on temperature and humidity.
