These feathers beautifully resemble a mature Red Tail Hawk feather. They are painted white at the base. They graduate to a coppery red middle with a dark band towards the tip. The color fades to an off-white at the tip. The quill changes in color from off white at the base to dark brown at the tip. Domestic turkey feathers are carefully selected, trimmed, shaped, and hand-painted to create these beautiful replicas of natural feathers.
